This is the Conductor Carl 100 piece piece train set. Wooden train sets are great for any curious child. Children can build train sets from scratch and then role play with the various characters. Children have to use problem solving skills to build their set and will act out real world situations with the pieces. It's fun and enjoyable for kids and parents alike.

This Conductor Carl Train Set includes 34 pieces of track, 12 vehicles, 15 people/signs, and 39 trees and houses.

Conductor Carl train sets use single piece construction train track. Many of our competitors use pegs for all of their track as the connecting piece. We use it on only a few select custom pieces. But our standard track pieces are all single pieces. Single piece construction track also results in a snug fit which ensures trains do not hop off the track.

Conductor Carl train sets are compatible with other popular wooden railway systems. Conductor Carl is compatible with Thomas the tank engine sets as well as Brio train sets. Feel free to mix and match between the two sets to arrive at grand scale train cities.

Conductor Carl train sets have passed CPSIA compliance testing. We ensure that all of our train sets meet government standards for lead and phthalates to ensure a safe playing environment. Copies of our test results are available upon request.

Build, Learn, Play
The Erector Set comes with a handy carrying case. Not only does it help your child organize the many small pieces of their set, it allows them to take the set with them on the go. The instructions are helpful and clear, showing in detail how to build the models, and stating clearly what pieces are needed before your child gets started. Please note, however, that there are no text directions, only illustrations. The plastic pieces can feel flimsy at times, but children testing the toy didn't seem to mind and played for hours.

A Classic Toy Lives On
Kids can build up to 15 different models using the illustrated instructions, or they branch out with their own creations. From planes to cranes to helicopters, there is so much that can be built with the 643 nuts, bolts, wheels, screws, and metal pieces that come with this set. A six-volt battery-powered motor makes the models come alive.

The sheer number of parts may seem overwhelming, but the compartmentalized case will help kids stay organized. Teenagers should have no problem building on their own, but younger kids might need some supervision and help, especially since the directions include no explanatory text -- just illustrations.

Durable Solid-Wood Construction for Years of Use
With the exception of the durable plastic uprights on the suspension bridge, the plastic wheels and steel rivets on the trains and truck, and the small, steel screws that hold many of the accessories together, the Wooden Railway Set is made entirely of solid wood that will last. Every track piece and accessory is sanded to a smooth finish, and when screws are used, they are set below the surface of the wood, providing a smooth surface for little hands.

The track pieces snap snugly and easily into one another with no excessive force or tools required. With over 100 track pieces and bridge supports to work with, the biggest challenge for your child will be to keep all the pieces organized during their building process.

Freight Train, Passenger Train and Flatbed Truck
The Wooden Railway Set includes a six-piece freight train with cargo, a four-piece passenger train, and a three-piece flatbed truck with cargo. The trains and the truck each feature durable plastic wheels held to the bodies with smooth, steel rivets.

The flatbed truck allows your child to replicate the real-world transfer of cargo from the train to the truck, and then on to the neighborhood stores for the final delivery. The set also includes train engineers who can help direct traffic as the trains come in and out of the station.

Choose Basket Locations
This kit includes two basket hooks that you can mount to a wall or door. Each hook uses a strong adhesive that sticks to a variety of surfaces, including walls, bookshelves, and mirrors. Once you've secured the hook, simply hang the basket on it. You can set up both hooks in different locations and then switch the basket between them as you play, depending on what kind of shot you want to set up.

Arrange the Targets
